Defining and Controlling Measures of Quality in a Virtual Marketplace

Course Description
In a virtual world, the measures of quality may be influenced by electronic media which tout one organization’s achievements to the detriment of its competition. This course builds a core competency in understanding the conventional definitions of quality-based performance. The course also provides a model skill set for influencing the measures of performance in a virtual world. The course assignment will be) to create a system of quality measures, b) tie those measures back to the dissertation project, and c) summarize a plan for influencing those measures for senior leadership.
Course Format
This course is delivered in a series of online modules complemented by off-line review and assistance. In-person, on-site modules are offered in addition when possible.

Deliver doctoral-level overview of the principles and best practices of the definition and control of the measures of quality in a virtual marketplace.

- Explain and demonstrate the skilled calculation of return on investment (ROI) from the definition and influence of quality-based performance measures in a virtual marketplace
