AMU Certifications are combination of courses covering specific sets of knowledge, skills and competencies, completed over 5-12 months, and culminating in a work or career-related process improvement. Faculty meet weekly with students on-line for two and a half hours, and on-site as scheduled to review examples, and improve their own work through dynamic, focused discussion. Students demonstrate their skills and competencies through individual or team projects which have measurable and quantifiable results. Projects are widely diverse and include business, industry, finance, cyber security, and healthcare.
Certifications include two, four or nine courses offered one at a time and consecutively. Faculty meet students on line weekly in synchronous classes at a pre-established day and time. Each course covers specific materials outlined in course syllabi and complemented by specific example and explained in detail by faculty. Specific courses are listed in each Certification. All programs culminate in a project which achieves quantifiable results.
