The course builds a core competency of team building.  Each student takes the Myers Briggs assessment in order to learn natural team member inclinations and then builds a trial team based on an AMU-suggested team profile.  The course builds skills through a quick review of introductory team tools and then moves on to advanced team tools.  Students in the health systems program align team and tool use with traditional health emphasis on improving outcomes and reducing defects in specific medical situations such as operating room surgical teams.
