This course introduces the principles and best practices of tracking, recognizing and validating financial expenditures. The central competency is the understanding of key terms and concepts. The central skills are the application of financial theory into practice. The course will be applied to the Degree Project.

Course Format
This course is delivered in on-line modules and complemented by off line review and assistance. Where possible, on-site sessions are also offered.

Deliver basic knowledge and best practices of quality-based, finance-related principles and best practices.

Course Objectives

  • Teach how the elements of quality-based financial principles and best practices comprise a systemic approach to tracking, recognizing and validating financial expenditures
  • Explain and demonstrate the skilled calculation of expenditures and cost of poor quality (COPQ)
  • Discuss the systematic application of quality-based financial principles and best practices
