Students will read case-studies, visit the websites of leaders who have implemented quality systems in their own organizations, and listen to lessons learned from the leaders themselves. The course builds a core competency in understanding the actions that constitute successful leadership in allying quality systems. The course builds skills in delineating which practices are the ones most effectively employed and why they were successful.
Course Format
This course is delivered in on-line, on-site or blended modules complemented by off-line review and assistance.
Course Goals
Deliver graduate level knowledge of leaders and lessons learned from their applications of quality system management principles and best practices.
Course Objectives
- Teach how leaders have applied quality system principles and best practices as well as what lessons they have learned
- Explain and demonstrate the skilled calculation of return on investment (ROI) from the lessons learned by leaders
- Discuss systematic applications to students’ projects regarding the lessons that were learned by leaders
